The Ambulance Provident Fund was formed in 1981 at the Annual Ambulance Officers Convention by a group of officers who were concerned for the financial security of their families in the case of their unexpected death.
The fund is designed to bridge the financial gap that can occur when the main income earner or their spouse/partner suddenly dies. Often bank accounts and other assets are frozen and regular income may cease, making it difficult to meet expenses and family requirements until superannuation and life assurance entitlements are finalised.
Members can now check their membership details and update contact and beneficiary information - all on line.

The process of validating the membership data base has been an extremely long and ardous task and it will now be easier for members to manage their own information. During the transition from the old database to this new Member Management System (MMS) it is possible that some information was not fully imported and has gone to a default mode. The MMS continues to be improved as we identify any little bugs or clitches. Please contact the secretary if you have any problem in accessing your information.
